give a fresh identity inspired by a location

For: La Forêt

Client

La Forêt is a music event organiser dedicated to techno, darkwave and Italo disco. After a long break caused by covid19, it restarted its activity at a new site. The location is filled with plenty of its owner's art collection with a well-established garden surrounded with plants. It is being used for private parties served by professional bartenders with food catering and it sells itself as a luxury secret place. Due to the changing of location, I made a new logo showing the new visual identity and communication on social media.

Design

As the client asked me to suggest a completely different visual set, I proposed a new style regarding its typeface and colour combination, which was aimed at being more classy and flashy alongside the music. The key visuals were inspired by the garden and special drinks at the location, and I used soft curved lines to emphasise the alchemistic atmosphere. Due to its venue change, the price of events became more expensive, so I set its visual identity to target higher class people as well as to maintain its regular audience.
